Classes & Demonstrations

SWRI offers a programme of handcraft classes to the Federations. A Federation can select subjects for a Two-day School held over 2 consecutive days with 4 hours tuition each day or a Craft Class with 4 hours tuition one week followed by a further 4 hours two weeks later. Federations can annually request a handcraft class taught by one of the Evelyn Baxter Scholars.

SWRI offers a programme of Cookery Demonstrations to the Federations on a 2 year rota basis.

Many Federations and Institutes organise additional classes and demonstrations on a variety of subjects.
