Publication Date - First of Month

All advertising copy and artwork must be in the magazine office four weeks before publication.

Scottish Home & Country Magazine has a circulation of about 8,000 copies and is sold throughout Scotland. It is A5 size and is printed in full colour. Advertisements can appear on the back cover or inside either cover, as well as other pages in the magazine.

Specifications

Printed litho.  Trimmed page size 210 × 148mm. Any ads supplied on disk should be Macintosh compatible and supplied with accurate hard copy print out.

Display Advertising

Series discounts are based on repeating same copy and artwork, otherwise £5.00 plus VAT alteration fee applies.  Guaranteed positions by arrangement. Proofs on request only.   One free editorial offered with 3 consecutive display advertisements.

Artwork prepared for clients by special arrangement; cost on application.

Cancellation of orders: two months notice required otherwise a fee of 20% of advertisement cost will be charged. Voucher copies sent.

Classified Advetisements - Rates include VAT

Note: Scottish Women's Rural Institute members' special rate is 55p per word.

The publishers, while endeavouring to ensure that advertisements appear with all possible regularity, will not be held liable for any loss occasioned by the failure of any advertisement to appear from any cause whatever. The publishers decline responsibility for damage to or loss of transparencies, artwork etc. All film and artwork will be disposed of after six months unless otherwise instructed. Where space has been booked, if copy is not supplied in time, the last advertisement of the nearest size will be repeated. The acceptance of an order does not confer the right to renew upon similar terms.
