National Conference & Exhibition
With 802 institutes it is one of the principal educational organisations for women in Scotland. Being a member allows women of all ages the opportunity to learn new skills, participate in a wide range of activities and enjoy the friendship of others. Events are organised at local, federation and national level and there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The National Conference will be held in the Festival Theatre, 13/29 Nicolson Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9FT on 5 and 6 September 2012.

The Conference Exhibition will also be held in the Festival Theatre when all competition entries will be on display. Competitions will include Education & International; Handcrafts & Housewives; and, Magazine.
| The Exhibition opening hours are as follows: | |
| Tuesday 4 September | 2 pm to 5.30 pm |
| Wednesday 5 September | 9 am to 5.30 pm. |
| The Exhibition will not be open on Thursday 6 September | |
The competition entries can only be picked up between 1 and 2 pm on Thursday 6 September 2012.
Competition entry forms are available from Headquarters, please send a stamped self addressed envelope detailing which entry form you require.

Voting Delegates and visitors must book their own accommodation. Rooms at University of Edinburgh Pollock Halls can be booked by phoning Edinburgh First reservations on 0131 651 2007 or emailing bed.breakfast@ed.ac.uk
Rooms can also be booked through Edinburgh Convention Bureau accommodation service.

The 2012 Sutton Competition is now entitled A Sporting Event.
The Isobel MacKenzie B Competition is entitled Going for Gold.
