Islay Federation meetings are held September, January and June in the Islay and Jura Council for Volunteers, High St. Bowmore.
March sees our annual Bulb Show in Bowmore Lesser Hall, sections are open to the IDEAS group and the local Garden Club, and the display is open to the public at 6.30pm.
May heralds our annual Rally with everything from traditional Jam making to handicrafts and this year including an Art competition, this event is held in the Balleygrant Hall, Balleygrant and again the public are made most welcome at night when the prizes are announced and a grateful cup of tea is produced. November' finds us roaming the island each year to a different venue as each Institute takes their turn at hosting the AGM.
