SWRI Perth & Kinross Federation

Perth & Kinross Federation covers 2,500 square miles, with 64 Institutes and over 1500 members, divided into 8 Groups. There are 3 Sub-committees - Housewives and Handcrafts, Education and Perth Show.

Members participate in all sports - curling, golf, indoor bowling and outdoor bowling - at national level, together with the Choir competition and Drama competitions. We are also keen on other outdoor activities, including walking, and for a number of years now have organised activity days in e.g. clay pigeon shooting, archery, abseiling, 4-wheel driving - the list goes on!

Members are very interested in all crafts, and many classes are held both in our office in Perth and more locally. Many Institutes take part in local agricultural shows, viz. Perth, Kinross and Killin.
